Coming soon - Lime Assistive Technology's new alternative to Windows Sticky Keys!

Yes, you heard correctly!  KeyHolder will be available very soon!

No more tiny icon, no more uncertainty about which controller keys are active...

With configurable colour and verbal indicators, users can see and hear whether Shift, Control, Alt, or the Windows key is active without having to be physically held down.

The KeyHolder window with no keys active. Shift, Ctrl, Alt and Win are all shown in grey, so at a glance you can tell that no controller key is being held. Above them is a title bar with a size slider, a pin button to keep the window on top, a settings button, and minimise and close buttons.

The KeyHolder window with all four keys active. Shift is magenta, Ctrl green, Alt orange and Win blue, each in a colour you choose, so at a glance you can see which controller keys are being held. Above them is the same title bar: size slider, pin, settings, minimise and close.

Use the application settings to control exactly how you see and hear which controller keys are active:

The KeyHolder settings window. On the left, the app background colour and a colour for every key, with separate normal and active colours - set all keys at once, or change left and right Shift, Ctrl, Alt and Win individually. On the right, button and window size, transparency, always on top, whether left and right keys appear as one button or two, spoken announcements with your own wording and choice of voice, and docking to a screen edge. At the foot: About, Reset to defaults, Cancel and OK.

Accessible via both the keyboard, or the floating window (with adjustable size and transparency) the active controller keys are clearly visible in colours of your choosing. The optional text-to-speech alerts can be easily configured, so you do not have to rely on the visual indicator if you have sight loss, or just want to rely on the text-to-speech alerts.

Keyholder has been thoroughly tested during development and we are confident that existing users of Windows Sticky Keys will prefer KeyHolder!
